The agency will also handle the logistics for Ford’s pan-European press launches for the two new models.

Steve Woolmington, senior manager product communications, Ford of Europe Public Affairs, said: "We are delighted to be working again with Grass Roots. In bringing a new Ford Focus and Ford Mondeo to the market, we needed to work with partners we can trust to deliver an outstanding event.

"Grass Roots has been involved in press events for Focus, Kuga, S-MAX, Galaxy, Ka, Mondeo, B-MAX and Transit in previous years and have always worked very professionally, both directly and behind the scenes, to provide a quality experience for our guests. We look forward to working with them on this major new programme."

Jane Jennings, account director for automotive, Grass Roots, added: "We have worked on a number of Ford media launches over recent years and are delighted to be continuing our client relationship with these prestigious events."

In May, Grass Roots joined other UK agencies including Capita Travel and Events, Crown and the Live Group on the Government's £50m events framework.
