The IT giant has teamed up with Wildgoose Events to create an app showcasing the brand’s 'Internet of Everything' concept to its corporate clients during the Commonwealth Games. As the Games’ official network infrastructure supporter, Phil Smith, Cisco CEO UK and Ireland, highlighted the event as "the perfect stage for us to showcase the Internet of Everything and what we can make possible to our customers and partners."

Toshiba Healthcare
On Friday 18 July, Toshiba Healthcare held the official launch of its Polyclinic, which offers 24-hour medical services to 6,500 athletes and team officials inside the Commonwealth Games’ Olympic Village. The event was attended by 20 of the company’s internal staff.

Aggreko
Aggreko held a major event this week, with more continuing throughout the duration of the Games, for the energy company’s key customers. The event involved a series of business presentations as well as a tour of the onsite equipment in the Glasgow Green area.
