Worldspan appoints Robert Bailey and Liz Stanhope

Worldspan Group has appointed five new staff to its event and commercial teams, including CI Events' Robert Bailey and Tourism Australia's Liz Stanhope.

Robert Bailey has joined Worldspan Group as senior business development manager after two years at CI Events. Bailey has worked in the industry for more than 14 years at agencies including Zibrant, Crown and Hogg Robinson Group.

Liz Stanhope has become Worldspan's senior project manager, responsible for project delivery and account management. She has previously worked for Tourism Australia and Grass Roots.

HSBC's marketing manager Tonya Hughes has joined Worldspan's PCO and live events team as senior project manager.

Sarah Froggett of ITC Luxury Holidays has taken on the role of aviation and travel manager and Gemma Kent has been recruited as finance manager.

Sophie Morris, Worldspan managing director, said: "We are delighted to welcome the new members of our team with their respective wealth of experience and knowledge. As we continue to grow, we look forward to making further investment in staff in due course."
