Brand Book 2014: A 'new world' beckons for pharma events

Innovation is key in the pharmaceutical events sector, particularly as a 'new world' beckons with the introduction of new reporting requirements in 2016.

The pharmaceutical industry is moving towards a 'new world' with the introduction of new reporting requirements in 2016, according to Luke Flett, sales and marketing manager of Ashfield Meetings & Events.

While spend and transparency remain at the forefront of the sector's events in 2014, innovation will be key to tackling the increased pressure on reporting in 2016.

Flett says: "Externally facing events will become smaller and more scientific in their content and congress attendance will decrease as pharmaceutical companies look at more innovative ways to distribute congress content to their customers."
