McQue joins Worldwide Events from Creative Direction & Motivation (CDM), an agency he founded in 2006, after previously holding a director role at Capital Incentives. At CDM he worked with clients including Nissan, HBOS, Churchill Insurance and Chevron.
In his new position, McQue will focus on enhancing the agency’s hosted buyer experience at its forums as well as overseeing the development of its Memberzone online portal.
McQue said: "After going solo for the last few years, I really am excited to be joining such a young, cosmopolitan, enterprising and technologically savvy business as Worldwide Events, bringing my years of MICE experience back into the mainstream.
"Driving business between key partners in what is essentially an entrepreneurial industry requires free-market thinking that is in touch with the underlying brand communication and performance-improvement disciplines in which I have worked throughout my career."
