Wilkinson already sits on the board of the IMA Europe and has been proactive within the association for the past two years.
Both associations advocate and promote the use of incentives and recognition to improve business performance.
Wilkinson told C&IT: "Being on the board of directors of the IMA in the USA will provide me with an opportunity to provide the board with my knowledge of how the incentive industry operates in Europe.
"I am also looking forward to working collaboratively with board members to develop contacts and promote the use of incentives and reward and recognition both in Europe and the US.
"It's is a great opportunity to network and discuss solutions, ideas, thought leadership, advice and innovation to successfully shift desired behaviours, improve performance and channel loyalty."
