BCD M&I's operating profit rose 78% from £174,376 in 2012 to £310,567 for the year ending 31 December 2013, beating its target of 49% growth.

The events agency's net income growth increased from £40,000 in 2012 to £220,807.

Turnover saw a 16% rise from £4.3m to £5m.

In 2013, BCD M&I's operating profit margin was 6.2%, compared to 4% in 2012.

The report stated that BCD M&I is on track for further growth in 2014 and aims to increase operating profit by 9%. Turnover is expected to grow 5%.

BCD M&I ranked number 10 in C&IT's top 50 agencies list 2014 and the agency's Carly Gargett recently made C&IT's A List 2014.

Sue Burgess, senior operations director of BC M&I, told C&IT: "We are looking at 20% growth from existing clients in 2014. We have seen incentives return to the market and are optimistic about the coming year.

"We are delighted with 2013's results, which can be attributed to a major new client win, operational efficiencies and growth from existing clients."
