With only 22 days to go until the 2014 Commonwealth Games officially begin in Glasgow, C&IT takes a look at some of the interesting figures surrounding the event.

1m spectator tickets on sale for the Commonwealth Games

11 days of competition from 23 July-3 August

71 nations will take part in the Games

10 events will be made available for corporate hospitality, including the opening and closing ceremony, athletics, rugby sevens, swimming, track cycling, gymnastics, judo, boxing and netball

6,500 tickets have bee sold by ATP Event Experts to individual games

1,200 The number of spectators ATP Event Experts is transporting to Glasgow for the Games

4,000 The number of room nights being held by the agency across 17 different hotels

13 venues will be used during the Commonwealth Games including Ibrox Stadium, Hampden Park and the SECC

Last week, it was revealed that hotel rates in Glasgow ahead of the Commonwealth Games have risen by 12% with occupancy levels increasing from 5% to 85%.
