JW Marriott opens new Beijing hotel

JW Marriott has opened its latest property in Beijing, China, becoming the hotel chain's 22nd property in Asia.

The JW Marriott Hotel Beijing Central, located in the Chinese capital’s Xicheng District, offers 412 guestrooms and 60 suites, including 12 Sky Garden Suites with open-air balconies.

The hotel also features 2,500sqm of conference space, including an entire level dedicated to events, with an 800sqm grand ballroom, 600sqm foyer and an additional 300sqm venue with nine meeting rooms.

Three restaurants serving both local and international cuisine are also included in the property.

Later this year, JW Marriott will open a luxury resort in Venice with 266 rooms and 1,200sqm of event space.
