Starwood opens new conference hotel in Brazil

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has opened the Sheraton Reserva do Paiva Hotel and Convention Centre in Recife, Brazil.

The hotel will include 298 rooms, including 18 suites, and a 1,500sqm convention centre with capacity for up to 2,100 people.

The event space is made up of two ballrooms and three function rooms, as well as a further 1,200sqm of meeting and exhibition space in the venue’s foyer area.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts currently operates 33 Sheraton hotels in Latin America with a further 20 properties in development.
