The Bureau will aim to enhance business opportunities and represent Italy’s offering in the MICE industry.
A management committee made up of eight people, including Carlotta Ferrari who has been elected as president, will direct the Bureau.
President of the Italian Convention Bureau, Carlotta Ferrari, said: "It’s an important milestone, which goes beyond any expectations and is scheduled to grow rapidly.
"Just imagine what this means in terms of turnover and economical growth. The story that begins today is really new, and we will all do our best to live up to it."
The Convention Bureau will have a central office located in Florence that will coordinate and promote its offer for meetings and events.
