International Festival for Business 2014

The much anticiapted International Festival for Business began this week (9 June), which will see more than 250 business events take place throughout Liverpool across 50 days. The festival will also host industry associations Evcom, ABPCO and ISES, while BT and CNN support the event as major sponsors.

Mövenpick MICE Summit

Mövenpick Hotels hosted its second annual MICE Summit this week (9-11 June) at the Mövenpick Resort & Marine Spa Sousse hotel in Tunisia. More than 80 delegates attended the three-day event, which included meetings, keynote speeches and an off-site team building activity in Sousse's medina. UK delegates included Clearwater Events, Crescendo and Resolution Events. 

While at the event, C&IT caught up with Francis Bertrand, VP of international sales at Mövenpick Hotels, who revealed his up-and-coming C&I destinations for 2014.

Beaumont Estate's summer party

Last night (12 June), Beaumont Estate in Windsor unveiled its newly refurbished Tudor Suite at a summer party attended by corporate clients, event organisers and venue representatives. Following the Tudor Suite’s £180,000 renovation, the event space can host up to 140 people for both meetings and corporate events.
