The Government’s Crown Commercial Service has awarded CTN Communications a supplier position on lot one for event planning, management and delivery, which comprises 15 companies.

The new framework, which is worth around £50m, runs for two years with the option to extend for a further two one-year periods.

CTN Communications produced the G8 Summit in Northern Ireland last year and has delivered a number of high-profile events across government, for departments including the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, Defence, Health and Number 10.

CTN Communications joins Grass Roots Meetings & Events, Crown, Capita Travel & Events, The Live Group and Bray Leino on the events roster.

Stephen Watson, chief executive of CTN, said: "We are delighted to have been successful in our bid to join this new framework. Being part of it will ensure that we have the opportunity to bid for and support the highest profile events."
