The first Event 360 forum, a new one-day event from C&IT and sister magazine Event, hosted around 250 event planners and suppliers at Tobacco Dock with representatives from companies including Arcadia Group, Scottish Widows, Alliance Boots, Zibrant, Powwow Events and BI Worldwide attending.

In the morning sessions, L'Oreal, ITV and IBM took part in Big Questions Live stating that procurement's understanding of creative events is limited and having a better understanding of the brand is better for the pitch process.

In the afternoon sessions, EE's senior event manager Kelly Phillips shed light on how to create stand out events before Will Scougal, head of brand strategy, Twitter UK gave the closing session on 'Engaging the Millennials'.

The event included a 'Tech Zone' enabling delegates to learn about new technologies and trends that will shape the events of the future and engage tomorrow's audience.

Meanwile, a Destination Zone featured suppliers including Dubai, Chewton Glen, Dominican Republic and Gleneagles, where delegates will get the opportunity to experience activities including croquet and whisky tasting.
