Global IT company Hewlett-Packard is to use Pickled Egg's Pointbank software system for 1,000 UK distributors to provide training and sales incentives.

The software will be branded Hewlett-Packard and will feature an activity feed and training modules. Distributors will be able to collect points after meeting sales targets ad completing the training modules, which they can then exchange for prizes. Spot prizes include gigs tickets, electronics and team nights out.

One of the prizes is an incentive travel trip for a group of 20 to a European destination, which will be organised by Pickled Egg.

Pickled Egg recently restructured its events business to focus primarily on its Pointbank software. The Pointbank system helps organisations measure ROI, maximise staff engagement and provide bespoke training and education modules.

Pickled Egg will continue to organise incentive trips, conferences and meetings.

Chinese multinational telecoms company Huawei is to use the Pointbank system for 400 UK staff. Furniture retail store Hammonds is also using the software to motivate and train 920 internal and external sales staff.

Ricky Knight, managing director of Pickled Egg, said: "Historically, we have been an events-based business but we have seen a shift in focus towards ROI on incentive travel trips. We have invested in Pickled Egg and placed Pointbank at the heart of what we do."
