CWT appoints Chris Bason from Grass Roots

Chris Bason has joined CWT Meetings & Events as head of events after eight years with Grass Roots.

Bason joins CWT Meetings & Events today (9 June) and will be responsible for overseeing the live events team and delivering event strategy, creative, production, technology and full project management.

Previously, Bason worked for Grass Roots Meeting & Events in Marlow as operations manager, which he joined in 2006 when it was Maritz Travel. He has also worked for AstraZeneca and led on events for brands including Dell, Amgen and Herbert Smith.

He was recently the London project lead for the Swiss Re 150 Anniversary event where he worked alongside CWT Meetings & Events. 

Bason said: "I am truly delighted to join CWT and to be working with some amazing people; some of whom I have previously worked for. CWT Meetings & Events has an exciting array of clients and a great reputation in the industry."
