Based in Edinburgh, the launch of Allied PRA Scotland follows the opening of new offices in Hawaii and Portugal earlier this year, as well as the new partnership with Cantrav Destination Services in Canada.

The AlliedPRA Scotland office will service the various regions of Scotland, as well as Ireland to cover a broad range of destination offerings, as an extension of the existing Allied PRA UK operations.

Rae, who has been appointed managing director, has over 18 years industry experience and most recently headed up the UK division of Pacific World serving on the management board.

Robert Patterson, chief operating officer and chief financial officer of Allied PRA, commented: "Our company has seen an increased demand for programmes in Scotland and the opening of this location will allow our team to optimally service this specific market demand.

"We are set to steadily expand our operations on a world-wide scale over the next several months to ensure we continue to develop our services in every region our clients operate programmes.

"Gillian is a perfect addition to our management team to meet this goal by bringing a wealth of DMC experience. She is amongst the most highly-regarded DMC professionals in Scotland and we welcome her to the AlliedPRA team."
