Kia Hanly, head of events, ITV; Alison Williams, divisional events manager, L’Oréal Professional Products UK & Republic of Ireland; and Vikki Bradney-Spencer, marketing manager and events leader, IBM UK and Ireland sat on the panel.
Key issues raised included procurement's understanding of creative events, which they argued is limited, and the importance of understanding a brand prior to the pitch process.
