The brand experience agency's new German office is being led by managing director Jens Mayer, who will report to Julian Pullan, Jack Morton Worldwide's president, EMEA.

In his role, Mayer will oversee the development, growth and operations of the agency in the German-speaking market.

He said: "Jack Morton is an industry-leading agency in all the countries in which it has established itself and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to extend the agency’s creative and strategic vision to brands in Germany."

Previously, Mayer was managing director for a number of agencies, including Informa Business Communication and IVBC (an Informa subsidiary).

Julian Pullan, President, EMEA, said: "This is an incredibly exciting launch for us and I’m delighted Jack Morton is able to become part of the marketing community in Germany. We’re passionate about connecting brands with people through innovative and market-leading ideas and I know that with Jens at the helm we will be able to continue to build on this ethos in our work with brands in Germany."

Also in the past month, Jack Morton has expanded through the acquisition of Genuine Interactive – a digital, mobile and social firm.
