The ATPI Group will deliver travel services across the ESA, as well as cost control and increased transparency on spend throughout its network of international offices and events.

Richard Guerrand, head of travel management and video conferencing, ESA, said: "Being experts in travel, albeit intergalactic ourselves, we were suitably impressed with the ATPI Group’s ability to provide the expertise and commitment needed in what is an extremely specialist sector with very individual needs."

The ESA is an intergovernmental organisation tasked with developing Europe’s space capability and has offices in Germany, Spain, Italy and Oxfordshire.

Adam Knights, group sales and marketing director, the ATPI Group, added: "We are thrilled to have secured the European Space Agency account. It truly takes our business to another dimension."

Earlier this month, the ATPI Group's Michiel Aulbers was featured in C&IT's 2014 A List alongside 34 of the industry's hot prospects.
