The APCC conference will take place for the first time at the HIC, while the ACPO conference will return to the venue next month having previously held the event there in 2011.

Simon Kent, director, HIC, said: "These are two great high-profile signings for HIC in what has been a very busy month for new contracts.

"It’s good to welcome the ACPO delegates back to Harrogate and particularly pleasing to see the Police and Crime Commissioners as a new client with their autumn conference."

In March, HIC revealed that it will host the British Medical Association (BMA) conference in June, as well as the first Royal College of Physicians (RCP) conference in March 2015 and the National Union of Teachers (NUT) the following month.
