Michelle Mone opens Imex corporate day

Some 80 corporate event planners gathered at Frankfurt's Villa Kennedy yesterday (20 May) for Imex's Exclusively Corporate day, with keynote speaker Michelle Mone of Ultimo Brand International.

The day featured an education and networking programme, which kicked off with a short introduction by Patrick Delaney and Padraic Gilligan, managing partners of SoolNua and members of the Imex facilitation team.

Innocent Drinks' Charlie Heavey spoke about 'Better Events on Tighter Budgets' and Mark Handforth, director of Compliant Venues, discussed 'Regulatory Compliance – A Meetings & Events Game Changer?'.

The group of planners were from 20 industry sectors and had a combined annual meetings and events spend of £107m. 

Imex 2014 runs at Messe Frankfurt, Germany, from 20-22.
