Salesforce.com has chosen the ICC at London ExCel for the third consecutive year to host its annual event for CIOs and IT professionals who use its cloud computing software.

The Salesforce 1 World Tour is visiting nine cities between May and June 2014, including Toronto, Paris, Amsterdam, Tokyo, Washington DC and Munich.

Keynote speakers include George Hu, COO of Salesforce.com and Ray Cross, CIO of the Alzheimer's Society.

The event at ExCel will feature 25 breakout sessions, a developer zone and exhibition.

Andrew Swanston, senior business development manager at ExCel London, said: "Salesforce's event has doubled in size since it has been held at ExCel London since 2012 and it is this flexibility to grow the event that I think really appeals. We also have great transport links with London City Airport nearby.

"London has 22,000 IT businesses and 540,000 IT professionals and technology graduates and, with London Technology Week taking place this summer, London is the ideal destination for events in this sector."
