The Meetings Show's hosted buyer reception at the Science Museum will take place on Monday 7 July. The headline partnership will also see Lime Venue Portfolio to provide food and beverage to the association meetings conference at The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre and cater for both hosted buyer lounges.

The Meetings Show’s event director Steve Knight said: "Bringing the two brands together under a headline partnership enables The Meetings Show to tell the story of the Lime Venue Portfolio to our key audience of qualified hosted buyers. They will have the opportunity to meet, network and do business with the UK’s only hosted buyer audience, as well as the substantial number of trade visitors we expect to see at the 2014 show."

Jo Austin, head of sales at Lime Venue Portfolio, added: "By using such an iconic venue, providing the fantastic catering of our special events division Payne and Gunter, and working with some of the industry’s leading creative suppliers, we will ensure The Meetings Show’s visitors have a true VIP experience to start their week.

"Having had a great show in 2013, we’re confident that it will go from strength to strength. As well as the reception event, we’re also looking forward to exhibiting at the show and delivering food and beverage to the hosted buyer lounges."

In March, The Meetings Show reported a 150% year-on-year growth in hosted buyers, with UK exhibitors including ACC Liverpool, Cardiff Convention Bureau and Celtic Manor Resort.
