Co-founder of Chew Events, former Chillisauce business development manager Matthew Curran, told C&IT that the new clients had been secured as a result of the relationships made previous to the agency’s inception.
"The clients we are working with are from old relationships made from our time at Imagination and Chillisauce. The events industry is based on trust and they trust us."
Curran, who founded the agency alongside former Imagination project manager Richard Brown, also stated that they are forecasting a turnover of £800,000-£1m in its first year.
"Over the last nine months we've been trying to attract new buyers and let them know that we're not just UK-based but global as well.
"We want to grow our client base as well as nurturing what we have whilst challenging some of the big players in the industry."
Chew Events will officially launch at an event tomorrow night (14 May) with 120 guests expected to attend including corporate clients, venue agents and press.
