Fry, who is planning to move to Hong Kong later this month, will leave Deloitte on 16 May after almost three years. Fry was appointed to his current role in November 2013.

Following his move, Fry plans to explore opportunities within the events divisions of financial corporations based in Hong Kong.

Fry will leave a three-person events team at Deloitte led by Faye Carter, who is due to go on maternity leave shortly.

Fry told C&IT: "I am really excited about a new adventure in Asia. I want to learn about a new culture, to gain more experience and to elevate my career. I leave behind a strong team at Deloitte and it is a shame I am leaving them so soon. However, I have been considering a move to Hong Kong for some time and now is a good time to take the next step in my career."
