Emma joined TBT in March 2006, working on the agency's marketing campaigns as well as having a mixed role in events. In 2009, she moved over to the events side of the business full-time.

Boss says: "2013 was very successful for TBT Event Services, which we aim to repeat in 2014," says Peter Saunders, TBT managing director. "Emma can take great pride in being fundamental to that success."

Best event I've worked on: A three-day incentive trip for 50 delegates to Croatia for an IT client. A galleon ship took us around the islands and the city walls.

Most challenging moment: The Croatia incentive. At the time the country was still a fairly unknown destination and it was an exciting way to reward the client's top performers. I had to manage multiple suppliers for an event who were also direct competitors but had different procurement agreements with the main client, which was a tricky situation to manage with multiple stakeholders vying for position.

Client I'd like to work with: I'd like to work for big food brands like John Lewis, Sainsbury's or Waitrose. I'm interested in food and it's a bit different to what I do already.

Alternative career: I used to study languages so I'd enjoy a job where I can use those skills in a marketing role.

Goals before 40: I'd like to grow with my team and secure some different clients, perhaps from the retail and automotive sectors.
