Simon started with Logistik on the grad scheme in 2007. He left in 2009 to organise an event around the World Cup in Cape Town, before rejoining Logistik in 2012.

Boss says: "Simon really embodies our values and has become a point of reference for all that Logistik stands for," says managing director James Wilkins. "He has led a team across a number of projects and FTSE 100 clients and the feedback is always outstanding,"

Best event I've worked on: The BT Live in Hyde Park event for the Olympics in London was pretty special.

Most challenging moment: We had to get 400 members of the press through a construction site at the Olympic Park for the launch of BT Sport. All the health-and-safety regulations were a big challenge.

Client I'd like to work with: Adidas, as they've always got their finger on the pulse with what's new and fresh.

Alternative career: I'd like to be a teacher.

Goals before 40: To move into the producer, stage management role. I enjoy working with senior level execs and making sure a show runs how it's supposed to.
