Gavin worked in nightclub promotions before getting a 'proper job' in 1998 as an incentive travel executive for Eyas Limited. He joined In2Events in 2005 and helped transform it from promotions company to corprate events agency.

Boss says: "Gavin is fundamental to the success of the business. As co-owner he plays a very hands-on role in ensuring clients come first and the success of their events is at the forefront of everything we do as an agency," says Adam Baxter, operations director and co-owner.

Best event I've worked on: When I was with Eyas we went down to Cape Town where we had private hire of Mount Nelson Hotel and had dinners on top of Table Mountain.

Most challenging moment: Setting up In2events was a challenge but the most rewarding. At 24 years old we started with nothing and for two years we had to sell print to fund the agency.

Client I'd like to work with: Apple and Samsung are the obvious choices but I'd like to work for aspirational brands like Ferrari, Aston Martin and Rolex. Working with those types of brands gives the agency a certain type of credibility.

Alternative career: I'd like to be an F1 driver or a presenter on Top Gear.

Goals before 40: I want to push In2Events a lot harder now we're getting the recognition that we deserve, especially now people want to start working with the company.
