The Cape Town International Conference Centre hosted the first IBTM Africa, which took place earlier this week from 28-30 April. The event was launched by Reed Travel Exhibitions as part of Africa Travel Week and was attended by more than 100 international delegates.
On Monday night (28 April) the International Special Events Society (ISES) hosted its latest ISES Talks event at the Blue Fin Venue in Southwark, London. Founder of Brand Fuel, David Ball, was the guest speaker for the evening, which was attended by more than 90 event professionals.
Visit Denmark invited event planners to London's IceTank venue last night (1 May) to meet a selection of Copenahgen-based suppliers. Meetovation's Bo Kruger entertained guests with a series of interactive activities to help communicate Denmark's C&I packages, while Danish chef Soren Selin and his team were on hand to demonstrate the best of the region's culinary offering.
Last night (1 May) the Church House Conference Centre in Westminster hosted its annual dinner, with more than 170 agencies and corporates in attendance. Entertainment was provided by the Young Guns Gospel Choir who previously had provided backing vocals for Pharrell Williams and Chic at the Brit Awards earlier this year.
