After eight years working at ITV making documentaries, Joanne joined the video department at Cascade in 2013, producing events, and shooting and producing video content.

Boss says: "Joanne has energetically worked to use her TV skills to increase efficiency in our video department. She has played a significant role on a number of hugely successful events and is well on the way to becoming a producer," says Jennifer Houlian, director of operations.

Best event I've worked on: I took a group of incentive winners from retailer Iceland to New York last year and got to shoot and direct them in all the different locations they visited across Manhattan. We managed to secure filming rights for Central Park, the Empire State Building and Yankee Stadium and I created a three-minute video for the winners to keep.

Most challenging moment: We worked on Muller's 21st birthday/Christmas party and they had also just opened a butter plant. I had to source and design a butter sculpture, which was quite a random request - I managed to find the one guy in the country who could do it.

Client I'd like to work with: The organisers of the White House Correspondents dinner. I think it would be amazing and what better venue to hold an event?

Alternative career: I really enjoy baking, so maybe a baker.

Goals before 40: To make senior level producer and help Cascade expand and produce some really unforgettable events. I'd love to do a road trip across America as well.
