Lindsay worked in the finance industry before moving over to events with her first role as project co-ordinator at Venues Event Management (now Capita). She worked her way up through the ranks, being promoted to project manager in 2010, and senior project manager at the start of 2014.

Boss says: Senior project and team manager Donna Greenhood says: "Lindsay has had an incredible 18 months. She took on the biggest events of her career and relocated her life to Scotland for it. She is passionate, dedicated, well organised and knowledgeable, and her commitment and attitude towards unavoidable planning challenges and motivates all of her colleagues."

Best event I've worked on: I worked on a customer training event last year which involved me relocating to Edinburgh for just shy of a year. The length of the contract and relocation was completely different.

Most challenging moment: The training event I mentioned was also my most challenging. I had to work with many people from overseas who had never left their own country before, using interpreters, and dealing with huge cultural differences.

Client I'd like to work with: An iconic brand like Coca-Cola.

Alternative career: I'd like to work in criminology as I like the profiling side of it - understanding people and what makes them tick.

Goals before 40: To run my own team of event or project managers and work my way up to management level. I'd also like to visit the Great Wall of China.
