After starting her career in logistics and transport, Amy-Jo did a stint in business transformation consultancy for local government before moving into events at BI Worldwide.

Boss says: "In recognition of her success and hard work, AJ has recently been appointed to the position of project manager, taking on client programmes to Mauritius, Berlin and Budapest," says David Battley, director of events.

Best event I've worked on: A twin-centre automotive incentive last year - we took 40 people to Chicago and a ranch in Wyoming. It was risky as it was so different, but the delegates really embraced it.

Most challenging moment: I took a group of 25 to Mauritius on my own and quite a few things happened that were completely out of my control, such as flash floods on the day we were supposed to have a car rally and the mobile phone networks going down.

Client I'd like to work with: Virgin on the V Festival.

Alternative career: Teacher, or working in live music.

Goals before 40: I would like to be project director on larger, more complex events. I'd like to travel and do some charity work in South Africa or Asia. I am also going to do a skydive.
