C&IT unveiled its 2014 A List, celebrating 35 of the top agency players aged 35 and under, at an exclusive party in the Pompadour Suite at Café Royal Hotel for a 100-strong crowd, who weren’t deterred by the London Tube strikes.

This is the sixth C&IT A List, which aims to recognise the rising stars from some of the top UK events agencies, including CWT Meetings & Events, George P Johnson, Smyle, Capita Travel & Events, Jack Morton Worldwide, BCD M&I and First Protocol.

C&IT editor Yasmin Arrigo said: "Congratulations to this year's A List. In the six short years since we launched the A List, we have already seen around 20 A Listers ascend to the position of MD or director."

Malta Tourism Authority was headline sponsor for the A List for the second year running. Malta Tourism Authority senior manager MICE UK & Ireland, Marie Anne Barthet Brown, said: "We are partnering with the C&IT A List again because we love the opportunity to be able to showcase Malta to the young buyers in the industry."

The full A List will be published in the May issue of C&IT magazine, and online throughout the month.
