EVCOM, formerly known as Eventia-IVCA, rebranded as the Event and Visual Communication Association last month.

As part of the agreement, EVCOM will be given a platform to meet delegates during The Meetings Show in July, whilst delivering access to the association’s high-profile members in the weeks leading up to the event.

Dale Parmenter, EVCOM chairman, said: "The Meetings Show is growing fast and it is the ideal platform for EVCOM to raise its profile and continue our work lobbying for change and improvements that support a more professional industry.

"We welcome The Meetings Show on board as a partner to EVCOM and look forward to the growth of our relationship."

Last month, The Meetings Show reported a 150% year-on-year growth in hosted buyers ahead of the event, which takes place at Olympia London on 8-10 July 2014.
