Located adjacent to The Beverly Hilton on the corner of Wilshire and Santa Monica Boulevards in Beverly Hills, the 12-storey, 170-room luxury hotel will be the brand’s first new build on the West Coast.

Scheduled to open in 2017, it will offer almost 600sqm of indoor meeting and special events space and a ground-level outdoor dining terrace and flexible open-air space to take advantage of Southern California’s year-round climate.

The nine-acre property, owned by Alagem Capital Group and clients of Guggenheim Partners, will feature lushly landscaped grounds and gardens, comprised of the new Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, The Beverly Hilton and Waldorf Residences in the future.

The hotel will feature a triple-height lobby with a contemporary Art Deco design, the signature Waldorf Astoria clock, hand-painted murals of California landscapes and custom chandeliers.

Each of the 170 guestrooms will feature floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto oversized private balconies.

Other amenities will include a rooftop pool, claimed to be the largest of its kind in Beverly Hills, and a Waldorf Astoria spa.
