The annual event has attracted a record number of 70 association event planners from both UK and international associations from around the world, including the World Health Organisation (WHO), European Cancer Organisation (ECCO) and the European Society of Cardiology.

The event kicked off with an opening plenary from Jacks Thomas from The London Book Fair, followed by Peter Hazenburg, sales and marketing manager of the European Association of Urology.

Other speakers at the two-day event include the British Banking Association's director of events, Ruth Moore, and The Federation of European Risk Management Association's Florence Bindelle.

Key topics include 'Revitalising traditional event formats to engage new generations'; 'How to create a must-attend hybrid event'; and 'How to increase delegate engagement through cutting-edge technologies.'

Alongside the educational sessions, delegates will also meet with suppliers of venues and services in pre-arranged one-to-one business meetings.
