Prince Philip House hosted more than 170 industry professionals including Barclays, National Grid, Incisive Media, Kuoni, HSBC, Black Diamond and Melon Events to its ‘Tour of the Senses’ last night (27 March), where guests explored the weird and wonderful effects of the senses and their impact on our eating experience.

Some 350 event organisers met llamas, reindeer and armadillos at ZSL London Zoo summer showcase event on Wednesday (26 March). It was the Zoo’s second large-scale private viewing since the opening of the new Terrace Restaurant and newly refurbished Prince Albert Suite. Guests enjoyed Pimms jelly and mandarin-scented Prosecco drinks while watching a bespoke Penguin Beach Live display. 

GIBTM, the Gulf Incentive, Business Travel and Meetings Exhibition, kicked off at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre with a record number of exhibitors on Monday (24 March). The exhibition ran until Wednesday, with guests enjoying evening events at The Rosewood hotel Abu Dhabi and Yas Island.

A new report, released at the show, into Middle East buyers revealed that price is not as important as accessibility and safety when planning events.
