Ricky Knight, managing director of Pickled Egg, has said that the "major investment" is not a "huge restructuring" and the events agency will continue to organise incentive trips and conferences.
He said: "At the end of last year, I decided it was time to put our corporate incentive system Pointbank at the heart of what we do. I've made a major investment in Pointbank, developing the technology behind it and getting together a talented team of experienced event and marketing professionals, with the plan of expanding its role."
He added: "Incentive trips and once-in-a-lifetime events, as well as conferences and meetings, will continue to be a very important part of our portfolio."
Pointbank provides four services: channel/dealer incentives; customer loyalty programmes; employee engagement campaigns; and sales incentives. It helps organisations to measure ROI, maximise staff engagement and provide bespoke training and education modules.
Knight explained: "The software helps organisations to communicate, motivate and educate staff. We have brought in John Breeden from Ovation to help us drive this forward. We will also be recruiting new members of staff to our events team in our new Chichester-based office."
