This follows the merger between Eventia and the IVCA in June 2013.

The brand's new identity was revealed at the IVCA Awards 2014, which took place at the Grosvenor Hotel on Park Lane in London tonight (28 March).

The Eventia Awards will still take place in 2014, however the association is reviewing its event plans beyond 2014.

Summer Eventia 2014 looks set to take place in Liverpool at the end of June in Liverpool as part of the International Festival for Business.

EVCOM chairman Dale Parmenter said: "The creation of EVCOM is both in response to this changing landscape and to establish a forum where leaders in communication can share, learn and network. The list of benefits to being a part of EVCOM is already substantial and more will be added over the coming weeks."
