The International Special Events Society (ISES) UK Chapter partnered with Meet in Ireland to host the latest ISES TALKS event at One Horse Guards, Westminster, on St Patrick's Day (17 March). Speaking at the event was deputy head of Tourism Ireland David Boyce, followed by Irish comedian Colm O'Regan.

C&IT was invited to Wembley Stadium's showcase of its new menu designed for the venue's meetings and events. Attendees gathered in a pitch-side suite to see demonstrations from the chefs and network with other industry professionals.

Tourism representatives from the three cities England will visit during the FIFA World Cup in Brazil this summer gathered at the Montcalm Hotel on Wednesday morning (19 March). The Brazilian Tourism Board's director of international markets, Leila Holsbach, stated that the World Cup will boost the country's event offering when the tournament comes to an end.
