Initial figures from this year's International Confex suggest that its move to Olympia London and revamped format has been well received, following 'flat' visitor numbers in 2013.

The show was moved to Olympia from Excel London for 2014 following its acquistion by Mash Media last year.

International Confex also appointed a steering group last November aimed at reinvigorating the show this year, with a view to making it 'bigger and better' in 2015.

Here are the key 2014 stats:

6,803 attendees over the two days

5,502 core visitor count

4,100 attendees into the Grand Hall on day 1

3,500 attendees on day 2 (includes return visitors).

320 exhibitors

200-strong crowds for the two keynote speeches of Kanya King MBE and Karren Brady CBE

80+ seminar sessions throughout the two days
