Griggs will join George P. Johnson as business development manager this spring. She joined the association in 2010 and saw her role evolve from managing operations for the UK Chapter to include Europe, the Middle East and Africa regions.

Griggs will continue in her position as ISES EMEA Brand Champion to drive the association's new brand strategy across the EMEA Chapters.

Kevin Jackson, vice president of George P. Johnson added: "Anyone who has met Toni knows the qualities she will bring to GPJ, not least of which is her enthusiasm for the industry and her creativity. Having known her and her achievements at ISES I’m really looking forward to working with her and continuing to develop our client business."

Griggs said: "I feel very proud of what I have achieved over the last four years in what was a new industry for me. I have had the opportunity to work with so many creative event professionals, both in our membership and at board level, which has allowed me to learn quickly and build a valuable network.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank ISES UK, EMEA and International Chapters for all their support; it has been such a memorable time for me and I am pleased to continue to play a key role as ISES EMEA brand ambassador in the future."

Jane Hague, ISES UK president, also added: "On behalf of ISES UK we wanted to express our sincere thanks to Toni for all her hard work and dedication to our association over the last four years. Toni has a boundless energy and genuine enthusiasm for what we do and this has absolutely contributed to our continued success. Personally I would like to thank Toni for all her support in my year as President; she is a joy to work with and I am sure she will have a very successful career with George P. Johnson."

ISES is now recruiting for Griggs' role.
