International Confex is talking place over two days at London Olympia and has included talks from Karren Brady and MOBO Awards founder Kanya King. C&IT caught up with the event's owner Julian Agostini on his plans for the future of the show.

After day one of Confex, the ACC Liverpool hosted a dinner for 40 events industry professionals at The Dorchester last night.

International Confex kicked off yesterday with Nick de Bois MP who urged the events industry to embrace apprencticeships, following the APPGI report, released in December.
