On Wednesday night (March 4) the Science Museum, The Victoria and Albert Museum and the Natural History Museum hosted Strictly SW7, an event showcasing a selection of each of the venue’s suppliers. Some 220 guests, including event professionals from Ralph Lauren, Warner Brothers and Goldman Sachs, were treated to a unique surprise when the Science Museum’s caterer Rhubarb revealed Heston Blumenthal as its guest chef for the evening.

The Belfry Golf Hotel & Resort celebrated its recent £26m refurbishment on Wednesday (March 5) with a VIP Routemaster parked on London's South Bank. Guests were given the chance to indulge in a relaxing massage and work on their long game on the hotel's golf simulator.

Members of the Australasia international travel trade gathered for Luxperience at Chelsea’s Beaufort House on Monday evening (March 3). The 50 exhibitors and buyers then got the opportunity to present their range of luxury travel products before the event ended with a three-course meal.

Visit York hosted its 'York Minster to West Minster' event on Wednesday night (March 5) at the Houses of Parliament. A variety of York-based venues travelled down to London, along with a host of conference and event planners, as part of Visit York’s strategy to increase business events in the city.

C&IT was invited to the London & Partners HQ for the official launch of its new convention bureau website last night (March 6). The evening also featured the unveiling of ‘Visualise’, a 360-degree panoramic view of London behind a pair of enhanced viewing goggles. The new website is designed to be a one-stop-shop for event planners.
