Jamaica, Barbados, Sydney and Mauritius are among the destinations being visited by top brands this year as incentive travel, particularly long-haul, enjoys a renaissance.

In C&IT’s incentive focus in the March issue, top brands including Goodyear Dunlop, Indesit, Vauxhall, FICO, Office Depot and Gartner reveal why they are investing in incentive travel in 2014 and the destinations on their hit lists.

Vauxhall is making a return to incentive travel with the launch of a nationwide programme for retailers around the football World Cup.

Indesit is going long-haul with an incentive trip to Jamaica in June, and Gartner’s annual sales incentive will be held on Sydney in April.

Meanwhile, brands including Citroen and Nikken reveal incentive trips are not on the agenda this year.

The latest report from the Society of Incentive Travel (SITE) revealed that incentive travel is at a four-year high, with 48% of respondents revealing it will increase in the next six months.
