Fiona Pelham to join MPI's international board as chair

Positive Impact's Fiona Pelham has been announced as a candidate for the role of chair-elect on MPI's international executive board for 2014-15.

Meeting Professionals International (MPI) announced the slate of candidates for its 2014-2015 International Board of Directors yesterday (3 March).
Pelham is managing director of Positive Impact Events and joint managing director of the Sustainable Events Summit. She is also a past president of MPI's UK & Ireland chapter.
Pending membership approval, board and executive committee member selections are effective from 1 July 2014, for the term of 1 July 2014 to 30 June 2015.

The slate of officers for the Executive Committee also includes:

·         Vice Chairman of Finance: Darren Temple, CTA, Chief Sales Officer, Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau, Dallas, Texas, United States

·         Vice Chairman: Brian Stevens, President and CEO, ConferenceDirect, Los Angeles, Calif., United States
