Altitude London held a Winter Olympics-themed party for 200 event planners on Wednesday (26 February), where guest of honour Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards was quizzed in a Q&A session hosted by Sky Sports’ Kate Riley. 

A one-night-only Altitude ‘Lift Pass’ allowed guests the run of the venue’s six event spaces, including a 300-seat auditorium, The Millbank Media Centre, high-rise flagship venue 360 with its panoramic views of the capital, and luxury boardroom space The View Studios.

Evolve Events celebrated its tenth anniversary by welcoming event agencies to its Agents Dinner at Kent House Knightsbridge on 25 February, where acapella group The Acafellas performed.

MPI's European Meetings & Events Conference (EMEC) took place at the Halic Convention Centre in Istanbul. The conference revealed that personalisation, SMM and the 'un-conference' are among future meetings trends and TEDx event organisers revealed their secrets behind the increasingly popular technology conference.
