EMEC 2014 gets underway in Istanbul

Around 300 event professionals are in Istanbul for MPI's annual European Meetings & Events Conference (EMEC) 2014.

Keynote speaker Peter Hinssen will open the MPI conference on the impact of technology.

Educational sessions throughout the conference also include 'Creating Magic: What Meeting Planners Can Learn from TED and TEDx' and 'What Trends Will Affect the Future of Events, as well as 'Selecting the Best Web Tools and Apps for Successful Meetings'.

A welcome reception will take place at Binbirdirek Cistern and the MPI Foundation's Rendezvous event will kick off at the Hard Rock Cafe Istanbul tomorrow (24 Feb).

EMEC runs from 23-26 February at the Halic Congress Centre in Istanbul.
