South Africa: spotlight on business events

Africa's biggest event trade show, Meetings Africa 2014, is taking place from February 24-26 in South Africa, with the theme of 'Advancing Africa Together'.

The show, attended by local and international buyers, kicks off with a business opportunity networking day on the first day, designed to provide educational and networking opportunities for the South African business events industry.

There will be a focus on responsible tourism with business events, alongside sessions on how to maximise business opportunities. The show will also include an Association Day and a workshop from the ICCA Africa Chapter.

"We are all set to deliver what we promise this industry: a world class business events trade exhibition show," said Amanda Kotze-Nhlapo, South African National Convention Bureau executive manager.

Meetings Africa 2014 takes place in the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg.
